These past days I have been really busy. I could not have been with my blog friends. Sorry. I have been taking some pictures for Orthodontic Centers of America, a dentists company. This work has had two parts. Some still life with apples and a session with a model.
These are the apple pictures.
I have been sleeping very few hours for a week. Coffee is my habit and fuel.
In true, I hate sugar with coffee. It is a sin. For that reason, I have made other picture without sugar.
The bad thing to photograph coffee is that I can’t avoid to drink it at the end. It seems to me this night will be very looong…
First of all, sorry for these silence days. I have been very busy with an urgent work from a liquor manufacturer. This traditional company (Portet S.A.) is the manufacturer of a nice liquor called “Ratafia dels raiers”. This liquor, ratafia, is a catalonian spirit mainly made of nuts. I love ratafia, but I love specially the Portet one because of its label. It has three small verses of the Poet Jacint Verdaguer from Raier song: “Só fill del Noguera / dins un rai nasquà / ma esposa és raiera / raier vull morir.”
A “raier” is a driver of a specific type of old river boat (rai). It is an extinguished labor, but there are some few associations that recall this nice job.
Well, ehem. My work. I have made the products photos for the catalogue and web of this company. This is a routine work. Nevertheless, I have made a photography for the company to illustrate the web and the vehicles. Verdaguer verses have influenced the final photo. The small picture in relief represents a raier in its rai.
