A heap of wood and bamboo chopsticks in a soft toned look. I had this image in my mind for some months and I photographied it last week. I wanted to create a different image of chopsticks playing with a really narrow deep of field.
Dissabte, Maig 31st, 2008One year
I’m an absolut disaster. This month (I’m almost late for one day…) is the first birthday of the blog!!! I started it in May 2007. Now he’s learning to walk by himself.
To celebrate it, I prepared a recopilation my favourite photos I have made in the first year of the blog. I realise that I […]
Dijous, Maig 22nd, 2008Restaurant Benet
Here are some photos of a project I’m working in just now. These are some images of the great Restaurant Benet in Les Borges Blanques (Catalonia).
In the heart of the greatest olive oil of the world (made of arbequina olives), the young chef Francesc Xavier Benet makes a modern and exquisite cuisine very vinculated to […]
Dimecres, Maig 7th, 2008Eat your greens
A funny image to represent some possible concepts (eat your greens, alternative treatments, natural medicine, overdose, drugs abuse, etc.).
Divendres, Maig 2nd, 2008Raspberries
I tried to get a soft toned look to this shoot.
I was looking for an innocent, happy and funny vision of this delicious berry fruit based in its atractive colour and the lightly bitter taste.
Poppy seeds
I have tried to create a contrast between a white background and red poppies. I wanted a soft and peaceful atmosphere for these very small decorative spices.
Poppy seeds are used to garnish bread and savoury bakery.
Green peas
The spring is here and, of course, the lovely peas are here too.
In this image I wanted to make a green fresh feeling and play with the curly twigs.
Green toy
This is a dangerous spiced cucumber.
Keep yourself away!

Dijous, Abril 3rd, 2008Saffron
A classic style food picture of saffron.
Saffron was a very important spice in my region (Valencian Country). It was used to add colour and flavour to almost all the rice recipes we cook. Now has been replaced by monosodium glutamate in powder (cheaper, with a big dying power, but with a poor taste).
This work has […]
