After making her crying, I had the feeling than Marta needed a more positive portrait.
She has been a good model here for some lighting test in the studio simulating natural light. We will wait a bit before repeating them, because the fan was broken in a little accident while it was working. It’s completely destroyed. Marta was modeling, so we can’t say it’s the assistant’s fault :P.

Marta Benavides is my new photo assistant at the studio. She has been working in most of the last pictures with us.
I know it’s not a good starting point, because she’s crying right now, but when she doesn’t cry, she’s a really good assistant and a nice person.

This is the last portrait I did last year, just the day before of my birthday and the last day in the studio before holidays.
It is also my last 20’s self portrait. I’m 30 now.
I wanted to test my new 24 mm TS-E with all the bad conditions i was able to imagine. Conclusion: It is amazing.

Yep. I have been some days out of the blog because I was getting married. I think it’s an important reason I guess… Too much work before the celebration and too much happiness after it.
So, I decided to take a photo of the photographers I contracted to shoot the wedding asa they came to my home to take some pics of me. I needed one of my portraits!!

My girlfriend and me had a little trip of some days with Ivar Teunissen and Brent Nelson to my hometown in the Valencian Country. Some of the most happy days in my life.
